Effective date: June 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how BakPac Global ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the BakPac Global mobile app and website (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, home country, business name (business accounts). Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes.
- Activity data: job/room/deal applications, saved listings, PACKMILES rewards ledger, gift-card redemptions and voucher codes.
- Content you provide: listing details and photos you upload, and messages you send to the AI travel assistant.
- Subscription status: whether you hold an active subscription (processed by Apple/Google via RevenueCat, or Stripe on the web). We never see or store your full card details.
2. How we use it
- To operate the Service: accounts, listings, applications, rewards and vouchers.
- To provide AI assistant answers (your messages are processed by our AI provider solely to generate a response).
- To sync your subscription across web and mobile.
- To prevent abuse and comply with law.
3. What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the Service: cloud hosting and database, object storage (listing photos), RevenueCat (subscription management), Stripe (web payments) and our AI model provider (assistant messages). Each receives only what is necessary.
5. Your rights & account deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app — deletion is immediate and permanent. You may also email us (below) to request access, correction or deletion of your data.
6. Data retention & security
Data is retained while your account is active and deleted when you delete your account. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and access is restricted.
7. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 16 and over.
